The EuroChem North-West-3 project entails the ground-up construction of a modern plant employing the most advanced available technologies to produce methanol with a maximum capacity of 2.5 million tonnes per year, as well as the construction of a methanol pipeline and Port Terminal for the shipment of products. Investments in the project will total ₽132 billion, and it is anticipated that approximately 300 new working positions will be established. The estimated date of commissioning is 2025.

Metafrax Chemicals, in collaboration with Casale SA Swiss company, has planned a new melamine unit with a capacity of 40,000 tonnes. It will be integrated into the Ammonia-Carbamide-Melamine Complex (ACM).
Construction of Methanol and Nitrogen Fertilisers Plant

Nakhodka Mineral Fertiliser Plant JSC is realising a project on construction of a large modern Methanol and Nitrogen Fertilisers Complex in Nakhodka municipal district of Primorsky Krai. The Plant aims to produce 1.8 million tonnes of methanol (stage 1) and 3 million tons of carbamide (stage 2) annually. The plant’s cash costs per ton are among the lowest in the world. The project is supported by Russian state banks, local authorities, and the federal government.
Construction of Ammonia and Carbamide Complex

The project on construction of Ammonia and Carbamide Complex at Akron site in Veliky Novgorod has been guaranteed for 20 years under the IPPA (Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement) signed in December 2020.
The project investment will amount to ₽106 billion. The company aims to reach its full production capacity of 1.6 million tonnes of carbamide and 300,000 tonnes of commercial ammonia by 2026. More than 300 working positions are expected to be established.
Establishment of Gas-to-Chemicals Complex in the Arctic zone

Investment amount: Over ₽200 billion
The project will be realised as part of Russian Arctic Development and National Security Strategy until 2035.
Planned investments to establish the company and infrastructure will surpass ₽200 billion. During the development phase of the project, as well as during the Complex operational phase, working positions will be established.
It is proposed to establish gas condensate mineral resource centres based on the Kumzhinskoye and Korovinskoye fields in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug; it is also conceivable to construct a methanol production complex based on Air Liquide technology and an export port infrastructure.
Methanol Plant

Investment amount: Total investment in the project will amount to over $800 million
The annual capacity of the Chemical Plant is anticipated to exceed 1 million tonnes of methanol. It is envisaged that the whole output of the factory will be exported. The construction will be conducted on the Volgograd Khimprom plant site. It is reported that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering Ltd. Would design the engineering for the project.
